This armor pays tribute to the legendary Uesugi Kenshin, known as the “Dragon of Echigo.” One of the most revered daimyos of the late Sengoku period, Kenshin was celebrated both as a master of strategy and as a fearsome warrior. His rivalry with the “Tiger of Kai,” Takeda Shingen, is etched into history, with both lords locked in epic battles inspired by the teachings of Sun Tzu’s The Art of War.

To his followers, Kenshin was more than a warlord—he was believed to embody Bishamonten, the Buddhist god of war. His warriors called him the “God of War,” and his armor reflected this divine presence. This yoroi set, adorned with a fearsome black kabuto and bold blue-and-red odoshi lacing, channels the same spirit of divine strength and martial discipline.

Each piece is handcrafted by master armorers, staying true to traditional methods. Delivered with a lacquered black storage box and display stand, this armor is both fully functional and a collector’s masterpiece. It is pre-sized for individuals between 160 cm and 185 cm, and can be easily adjusted for a perfect fit.
